The World Bank site PovertyNet is available at:
The World Bank now has an electronic newsletter which provides
an update of new resources about understanding and alleviating
poverty available from the PovertyNet web site, you can read
previous issues or subscribe of this newsletter at:

The United Nations Development Programme site www.netaid.org
has been launched to "tap the growing power of the Internet
to help eradicate extreme poverty" The NetAid web site presents
information on anti-poverty success stories, ways through which
individuals can take action to help end extreme poverty, and
the NetAid concerts in New York, London and Geneva.

You can also visit the Hunger Site, where with a simple click
of the mouse you can donate food (at no cost to you!) to the
United Nations World Food Programme.
